Learning to Love Yourself is the Best Way to Live Your Life

Self love is something that creates a feeling of pure love or self reflection which brings on self appreciation. What do you do on a regular basis or even on a daily basis that is just for yourself?   A wonderful group of women were asked this question at a meeting recently. Their answers were beautiful.  I have a cup of tea before the kids get up while it is quiet.  I give long hugs to my children every morning and every night.  I look into the mirror every morning while putting on my makeup and tell myself, "I love you and you are going to have a great day".   I start my day with a cup of coffee and end my day with a glass of Chardonnay.  I walk my puppy.  I email my kids each morning and get to read their responses each night.  I do Yoga.  I spritz a little perfume on that I like.  What do you do daily? Life is short, we all need to take time to enjoy it and remind those around us to enjoy it. We all have stresses in our lives that are very real, but that doesn't mean we are our stresses. We are people and we need to focus on appreciation, on things we like, the good things, the fun, the joy and the laughter. I challenge you to find a few minutes each day and do something JUST FOR YOU!  I promise you, life will be sweeter and you will be glad you did!  Really, I promise!
