Letting go and accepting the changes in life is not always easy but it is a great lesson for people of all ages, walks of life and professions.
How do we handle the changes; do we cry, do we stomp our feet and scream "No", do we breath deep and let it go? And if you are the type of person to breath and let it go, how long is it before you feel hurt, despair or anger creeping back into your body. Instead of trying to delete it from your thoughts actually think about it, process the lesson and let it go.
What we resist persists. What we envision and focus on we bring closer to our reality. In your day dreaming state do you see yourself creating a stronger destiny, stretching yourself to new heights, and see yourself succeeding? Or do you feel sorry for yourself, fall short of your goals and give in? We create our destiny with thoughts. How do you rearrange in your mind when something is not what you envisioned.
Now I will be the first one to say that I didn't ask for many of things I have been given but I do know one thing. Many of life's hardships have been difficult to work with, painful to live through, and frustrating to plan around but I have grown every step of the way. I am stronger, smarter and more appreciative for the hard times that have happened in my life. When I just let go and breath my way through it I begin to see that they are all just life's little lessons and I am the student. Every thing comes with practice and rehearsal. I know with seeing myself as intelligent, self confident and happy I am providing my life with answers to long-term fulfillment.
So when something comes your way and you are feeling it needs to stop, take a breathe and try to see the lesson in it.
